when i met Boonkiat and Kimberly for the very first time, it was like meeting old friends – friends from childhood that i had lost contact with for a long time.
we hit it off immediately, and we spoke with passion on lots of things under the sun – like how they met off a dating site, swiping right when they saw each other’s profile. we reminisced how much we loved the great outdoors, and future adventures that we agreed would be next on our bucket list.
more importantly, we shared the same views on how a wedding should be held – to infuse it with their own character, planning that day how to be as enjoyable for everyone involved, and simply just to have a blast. they were passionate folks who felt photographs should be as real as they can be, and for me, that is more than enough.
the day was held at one of my favorite places ever, the White Rabbit at Harding Road, a venue which holds immense potential for anyone planning to have a whale of a time at their wedding. the weather was perfect for the late afternoon solemnization at the lawn, and my shoes felt the soft mangoes that fell from the trees. everyone came dressed in either their best version of bohemian-style wear, or whatever they felt most comfortable in. tears were shed, hugs were shared, and a waft of love could be felt in the air.
the night continued in the same vein, with lots of drinks to keep everyone merry, heartfelt speeches that touched our very core, and a celebratory dance to release all the pent-up emotions that Boon and Kim had stored during all these weeks leading up to the wedding.
Thank you Boon and Kim for rockin’ it out during your wedding, for making me feel alive, and for inspiring me on that very special day.
